This ST. BERECHTIR CROSS by McHarp from the 9th Century is a beautiful example of early Celtic oramentation. It is one of the earliest dated examples of Celtic art which has survived.
The cross is covered with a diagonal key-pattern and a central circle is filled in with a wreath of interlaced knotwork, but leaving a small central circle to symbolize the motionless mover, God.
