PotTerre Raku & Stoneware
Terre Lynn Christensen is a native of Colorado, making her home in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. PotTerre Raku & Stoneware has been her answer to a passion for clay. After honing her skills while doing ceramics as a hobby, Terre began a serious professional pursuit in 2007.
Raku is the preferred finish medium for the ethereal flame and color patterns it produces, but Terre also fires using Horsehair, Naked, and Obvara methods. Combining raku and stoneware finishes with post-firing embellishments to a variety of forms, PotTerre pottery is genuinely one-of-a-kind, making it a unique gift or collectible.
“Raku’s unpredictability appeals to me. I love the colors, metallic qualities, and textures that transform a simple piece into something distinctive and interesting. With attention to details and composition, my pieces are carefully crafted.”
